Product description

Rattlestick use Merkur (German made) and Edwin Jagger* (Suffield, England) razor components. Both are high quality well known in the shaving industry. The razors deconstruct which create handles that are unique and long lasting and reassemble them for a unique high quality shaving tool.

The Edwin Jagger are nicely finished heads with the most beautiful plating amongst safety razors and tend to be a bit lighter razor. Old and new shavers indicate this gives them an excellent shave with minimal tugging. 5/10 for aggressiveness.

*Rattlestick is the only company in the world that has full rights to alter the Edwin Jagger razor!

Double edge safety razors use old-school razor blades, ensuring a closer shave then is typically possible with a disposable razor head. There is a ledge on the razor head that touches your face, and the closeness of the razor is determined by the angle of your hand and the handle. This type of razor require a bit of initial learning and care, but becomes second-nature quickly.

The buffalo have thrived in the extreme conditions of the Great Plains, enduring sweltering summers and frigid winters. Buffalo are mostly blind, making their way in the world using an acute sense of smell and hearing. Once on the brink of extinction, their resilience has yet again restored them to their rightful place, free and roaming the Northern Plains of Alberta. Buffalo horn is a symbol of strength we don’t yet know we have.
